Ingredients
serves serves 3 to 4, active time 30 minutes, total time 45 minutes17 dates
1 pound ground lamb
One large onion, dicedTwo cloves garlic
Salt and pepper
- Add the dates and garlic to a food processor, and process until finely chopped. Use a spatula to scrape down any bits that have stuck to the sides. Add the dates and diced onions to the ground lamb. Season with salt and pepper.
- Divide mixture into four pieces.
- Using metal skewers, form lamb into logs and thread a skewer through the center. Place on a foil-lined baking pan.
- Bake in a 375 degree oven until browned, 15 to 20 minutes.
